Privacy

In short

Voice4Fun collects no data: we have no servers, accounts, ads or analytics, and the app sends nothing over the network. The app is made for children, and no children's data reaches us or third parties.

Microphone

The app uses the microphone only while recording, after permission is granted on the device. The voice is processed entirely on the device.

What stays on the device

Saved sounds and the parental PIN, stored in unreadable form (hash). They stay on the device and are included in its backups, if enabled, according to the user's settings. They are removed by deleting them from the gallery or deleting the app.

Sharing

A sound leaves the app only if an adult, after entering the PIN, sends it with the system share menu. Where it goes, and to whom, is up to the adult; from then on the privacy terms of the chosen service apply.

Notifications

The only notification is local and says when a forgotten PIN can be reset. It does not go through any server.
